イザヤ書 5:24 それゆえ、火の舌が刈り株を焼き尽くし、枯れ草が炎の中に溶けゆくように、彼らの根は腐り、その花も、ちりのように舞い上がる。彼らが万軍の【主】のおしえをないがしろにし、イスラエルの聖なる方のことばを侮ったからだ。

Isaiah 5:24 Therefore, as the fire devours the stubble, And the flame consumes the chaff, So their root will be as rottenness, And their blossom will ascend like dust; Because they have rejected the law of the Lord of hosts, And despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

Isaiah 5:24 So now, just as straw and dry grass shrivel and burn in the fire, your roots will rot and your blossoms will dry up and blow away because you have rejected what the Lord Almighty, Israel's holy God, has taught us.
