  12:2 Let us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, on whom our faith depends from beginning to end. He did not give up because of the cross! On the contrary, because of the joy that was waiting for him, he thought nothing of the disgrace of dying on the cross, and he is now seated at the right side of God's throne.

 

  12:3 Think of what he went through; how he put up with so much hatred from sinners! So do not let yourselves become discouraged and give up.

ヘブル人への手紙 12:2 信仰の創始者であり完成者であるイエスから、目を離さないでいなさい。この方は、ご自分の前に置かれた喜びのために、辱めをものともせずに十字架を忍び、神の御座の右に着座されたので

12:3 あなたがたは、罪人たちの、ご自分に対するこのような反抗を耐え忍ばれた方のことを考えなさい。あなたがたの心が元気を失い、疲れ果ててしまわないようにするためです。
